Δούλεψε για ακόμα μια φορά με τον αδερφό της Rollo Armstrong –ο οποίος έχει κάνει παραγωγή στο μεγαλύτερο μέρος του album. H Dido επίσης συνεργάστηκε με τους Brian Eno, Jeff Bhasker, Rick Nowels και Greg Kurstin, δημιουργώντας ένα album με 11 καταπληκτικά, soul-baring, electro-pop, δικά της τραγούδια.
Έχοντας ήδη παρουσιάσει το super track ‘Let Us Move On’ –στο οποίο συμμετέχει ο πιο καυτός rapper της εποχής, Kendrick Lamar– η Dido θα κυκλοφορήσει το νέο single ‘No Freedom’ στις 24 Φεβρουαρίου.
Από το ευφοριακό ‘Go Dreaming’ μέχρι το πνευματώδες ‘End of Night’ και το folklore ‘Sitting On The Roof Of The World’, το ‘Blackbird’ είναι επίσης πολύ ιδιαίτερο. Όσο για τον τίτλο του album; «Είναι ένα από τα αγαπημένα μου τραγούδια στον δίσκο», λέει. «Αλλά υποθέτω ότι επίσης συνοψίζει τα τελευταία χρόνια για μένα. Κάνοντας ένα βήμα πίσω από όλα αυτά και πηγαίνοντας μακριά για να έχω ολόκληρη την ευτυχισμένη περιπέτεια της έναρξης μιας οικογένειας. Αλλά και κάνοντας ένα album που πραγματικά με κάνει τόσο περήφανη. Και τώρα δεν μπορώ να περιμένω να το ακούσουν όλοι».
